Broadside colour lithographic poster with a calendar for 1920, issued by Michael O'Connell, General Grocer, Tea, Wine and Spirit Merchant, 24 Main Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Featured on sheet is a photomontage black and white image of the greyhound "Osprey Hawk", the winner of the Irish Cup for 1918 with a black and white portrait of his owner Mr. Martin O'Halloran on the right of the sheet within an oval and featuring a photomontage black and white image of the runner-up for 1918, the greyhound "Swordfish", with a black and white portrait of his owner Mr. Michael Nolan on the left of the sheet within an oval. At bottom of sheet on each side is an illustration of a hare with an oval black and white image in the centre of a man [possibly Michael O'Connell?] wearing a hunting outfit, holding the reins of a horse beside him; another man [possibly a groom?] stands adjacent to him. The calendar for 1920 is present at the bottom of the sheet. A decorative interlace border is present on the sheet, incorporating greyhound collars, while a "Deanta in Éirinn" [Made in Ireland] logo features on the lower left-hand side of the sheet; the logo of the publishers O'Loughlin, Murphy & Boland is featured on the lower right-hand side of the sheet.
