Somewhat distressed programme, [with many manuscript annotations and doodles present throughout. Black font on blue paper, featuring an image of the Scared Heart of Jesus on the cover undearneath an image of the Pioneer badge] of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart Annual General Meeting to be held in the Theatre Royal, Sunday, November 24, 1940. In the Chair - Right Rev. MGR. E. O'Callaghan, P.P., V.G., Drogheda. "From 2 to 3 pm the Artane School Band (by kind permission of Rev. Bro. Lennane, Superior) will render the following programme..." (a selection of consisting of an overture, excerpts from 'The Bohemian Girl', a coronet solo etc.) followed by a raffle and a concert. Includes a paragraph [p. 2.] about the Pioneer Badge and a message from Fr. Cullen [p. 3]. Lyrics of hymns on [p.4] - "To Jesus' Heart All Burning", "Hail, Heav'nly Queen" and the first paragraph of the [Irish] National Anthem [translated into English].
