The three letters are incomplete and the respective date stamps are: 19th August, 25th August and 2nd November 1859. The first two are addressed to Darby at 'The Leap, Roscrea, Ireland'. The last is addressed to Darby at Sandymount, Dublin. Hand-written notes on ca. 30 pages, apparently taken from the Carte Manuscripts at the Bodleian Library. They appear to deal with family history and the allocation of lands. The Butler (Mountgarret) family are mentioned. |
