Original pen and ink drawing of a horse and cart by George Russell [AE], with four small sketches in pencil of men's faces also present on sheet, two of which are in profile with one slightly more finished of a gentleman with side-burns, wearing a hat. With pencil sketches on verso of three figures - one figure [at left] is possibly inspired by the pose of the Apollo Belvedere marble sculpture in the Cortile delle Statue of the Pio-Clementine Museum in the Vatican.
