Notes:Letter to Marie Georgiana, Dowager Baroness De Freyne, from Lt. J. Stanleigh Turner in the Western General Hopital in Manchester. Concerns the whereabouts of her son, 2nd Lt. Hon. Edward Fulke French, with Turner stating that he saw 'no reason to suppose that any worse fate than that of being a prisoner has befallen your son'. Edward Fulke (known as Fulke) was missing in action and died as a POW on 13 November 1918, two days after the war ended. Dated 29 March 1918.
