Summary:Papers relating to the organisation of and events marking Woman's Day and the associated anti-conscription movement, held on June 9th, 1918. Included are newscuttings, mainly from 'The Freeman's Journal', copies of a leaflet on Women's Day (titled 'Lá na mban To the Women of Ireland') printed by the Woman's Day General Committee, of which Alice Stopford Green was chair, accounts of the expenses connected with Woman's Day, and related letters from Monica O'Mara, of Limerick, concerning Woman's Day celebrations in Limerick (dated 1 Jul) and M. J. McKean of Dublin (15 Jul.). The recipients of both letters are unclear.
