Description: Undated letters to Irish-American republican Joseph McGarrity from Lucy Haslam, Richard M. Hurd of the American Defence Society, concerning fundraising efforts for the Society, Thomas P. Kavanagh, a fragment letter from J. P. Keating, Sunny MacAvin, written from St. Ultan's, Cabra, a fragment of a letter from Mick McDonnell, in which he refers to his dealings with Peadar McMahon, the then Army Chief of Staff, from Eamon McGarrity in which he informs his father of a recent motorbike accident, Joseph Mulvihill, of New York, Tom McGraw of Detroit, Thomas Conroy Mahoney, concerning a donation for 'the cause' and his contacts in Ohio and Peter Murray of Los Angeles, in which he refers to the deaths of two IRA men in Los Angeles and the work of Irish-American organisations in the city.
