[about] 6ft 3 in[inches] Length 10 ft 8 in Breadth 4 f 10 in[inches]. An same sheet at right of page is an illustration of a stone slab entitled: "Stone lying among the ruins at the Western Door of Church of Banagher". Signed underneath by artist: "J. W[...] Smith. This medieval parish church was chosen by Archbishop Colton of Armagh as the base for his visitation of Derry diocese in 1397. It was abandoned by the 17th century and was vested into the care of the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland in 1880.
