Summary: | Letters to playwright and children's author Máirín Cregan from assorted friends and associates, concerning social, political and financial matters. Included is a letter from historian Fr. John H. Cullen, of Hobart, Tasmania, in which he refers to the political situation in Tasmania and Ireland, Marian King, written from Ashford, Co. Wicklow, regarding a meeting with Cregan, Dorothy Macardle, concerning Cregan's radio interview in which she discussed Sean MacDermott and from an employee in the National City Bank, concerning Cregan's royalties from book sales in the U.S. Included is a letter from Cullen to Cregan's husband Dr. James Ryan on his election as a TD in 1927. |
