Summary:Letters and documentation concerning opposition to the Home Rule Bill of 1893. Contained are two letters from the foreign secretary and M.P. for Berwick Upon Tweed Sir Edward Grey (recipient unclear), concerning his receipt of a resolution from the Alnwick Conservative Assocation opposing the Bill (28-30 Mar 1893), a notice issued by the National Union of Conservative and Constitutional Associations, concerning their opposition to 'Mr. Gladstone's ''Separation Bill'' (Oct. 1893), and a draft and printed copy of an address the Alnwick Conservative Assocation made to the House of Lords endorsing the Lords' opposition to the Bill (Nov. 1893).
