Barthélemy-Christophe Fagan, also known as Fagan de Lugny, was born in Paris in 1702 and died there in 1755. He was the author of French plays. His father, Guillaume Fagan, was of Irish descent, his ancestors having fled Ireland for France as refugees at the time of the religious persecutions in Ireland.
