The letter is addresed to Messrs. Thos., Wm. & J. Kelly, Wine Merchants, Lower Gardiner St., Dublin. Cooney says he will not order any more spirits or wine until his stock reduces, as 'Temperance is the order of the day here & drinking going quite out of fashion'.
Thomas, William and John Kelly were wine merchants in Gardiner Street, Dublin.
