Purdy discusses the erection of houses to accommodate the workers in the colliery, and also says that the Directors think the landords, to whom the improvements will revert, should contribute to the costs. He solicits Wilson's help to forward this aim with the proprietors.
The paper is damaged, with some loss of text at the bottom.
Richard Purdy was secretary of the Mining Company of Ireland.
