Description: Miscellaneous documentation largely reflecting Nolan's career in the Royal Irish Fusiliers, including newscutting featuring photographs of British Army troops in South Africa during the Boer War, a printing of a poem titled 'The Joys of India' (Nolan was stationed in the Punjab from 1903-4), and a notice issued by the British Army to Nolan's family, relating to the point of contact when making enquiries about him.

Also included is a black and white head and shoulders portrait photograph of an unidentified young man, which may be Nolan.
