Description: ‪Largely undated letters from Private Edward Nolan of the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Irish Fusiliers, sent to his parents and sister Annie, written from Armagh and Holywood, Co. Down and a fragment of a letter written from Colchester. Nolan's letter written from Armagh is dated 16 June 1899, prior to his departure for South Africa.
