Summary:Williams has just returned from Ireland. He talks of personnel difficulties, presumably amongst the soldiers. He also says 'A person of rank with us acted very strangely in Ireland. You will hear enough of this matter hereafter, some persons are subject to nervous affections.' The letter mentions two other members of the militia - a Major Phillips and a Captain McClary. Williams discusses other military and personal matters.
