James Bryce (or J.B.) Killen was a barrister, journalist, and radical. He was tried on 11 December 1879 in Carrick-on-Shannon, along with Michael Davitt and James Daly, for using seditious language at a Land League meeting in Gurteen, but all three escaped conviction.
