Description: The telegram, handed in at 9.25 a.m. in College Green, Dublin, is addressed to Dr. Cox & Father McLoughlin, Sligo. Parnell instructs them to suggest Mr. Healy instead of Parnell as a candidate, at the Home Rule League meeting that evening. He refers them to the Freeman [newspaper] for an explanation.
