The letter is written from Morrisons' Hotel, Dublin. On W. Healy's suggestion, Parnell recommends to the Election Meeting Mr. Sexton, in Healy's place, unless there is a local candidate of whom he has not heard.
Accompanied by an envelope addressed to 'The Hon. Secs. Sligo Co. Meeting'; lacking stamp or postmark, it was clearly enclosed in another letter or delivered by hand.
