Summary:Halftone photomechanical print featuring portraits of the Most Rev. Dr. John Healy and the Most Rev. Dr. Michael Higgins and a scene of Croagh Patrick in the background. John Healy D.D., LL.D., M.R.I A., (1841–1918) served as Bishop of Clonfert from 1896 to 1903 and Archbishop of Tuam from 1903 to 1918 and is known for his re-establishment of the pilgrimage to Croagh Patrick [see John Shovlin, "Pilgrimage and the Construction of Irish National Identity". Proceedings of the Harvard Celtic Colloquium 9 (1991): 59–76]. Dr. Michael Higgins was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Tuam on 23 March 1912 (the same day he was appointed Titular Bishop of Temnus (also known as Temno, located on the western coast of Anatolia); he was ordained a bishop on 16 June 1912. With NLI stamp on verso, dated '24 JUN 1915'.
