Thomas Shaw, 1st Baron Craigmyle, later known Lord Shaw of Dunfermline and [from 1929] Baron Craigmyle of Craigmyle in the County of Aberdeen, was a Liberal Party politician and judge. He presided over the 'Royal Commission into the circumstances connected with the landing of arms at Howth on July 26th, 1914' [The Howth gun running which involved the delivery of 900 Mauser rifles to the Irish Volunteers at Howth harbour in Ireland on 26 July 1914] and the subsequent publication "Report of the Royal Commission on the circumstances connected with the landing of arms at Howth on 26th July, 1914". With NLI stamp on verso, dated '10 AUG 1914'.
