| Summary: | Black and white photomechanical print featuring Irish language writer Séamus Ó Neill, (1910-1981), that was reproduced in a 1953 calendar entitled 'Dáréag Scríbhneoirí Gaeilge' 1953, issued by Sáirséal agus Dill. Head and shoulders, facing to front, with facsimile copy of his signature present at lower left of sheet. Pasted on verso is a slip of paper with a heading "Séamus Ó Neill" and the titles of seven Irish language publications by him, the last of which was due to be published in 1953. Sáirséal agus Dill was founded in 1945 by Seán Sairséal Ó hÉigeartaigh [son of P.S. O'Hegarty] and his wife Bríd Ní Mhaoileoin. |
