Parnell's letter to E. M. Lynch, dated 17 April 1878, refers to his receipt of a letter from her concerning a petition in support of the Women's Disabilities Removal Bill. Referring to the petition he writes 'I now beg to say it will give me great pleasure to present the petition and support it's prayer'.
