Summary:	Frontispiece of Robert John Thornton's "Sexual Systems of Linnaeus"; engraving by Francesco Bartolozzi, after an original painting by Sir William Beechy of Queen Charlotte, consort of George III. Half-length portrait, slightly to left, in a pearl trimmed dress with cameo brooch and head-dress, a frame of clouds and cherubs with garlands surrounding. Note see British Museum call number Mm,15.150 for another version of this engraving, that unlike this is lettered below image with title, "Patroness of Botany and the Fine Arts", and production detail: "Sir W. Beechey R.A. pinx. ad. viv", "F. Bartlozzi R.A. ornav et sculp.", with publication line: "London, Published Jany. 1. 1799 by Dr. Thornton, Duke Street, Grosvenor Square".
