This project, funded by British Academy and Leverhulme Trust, is a collaborative programme of research that seeks to critically reappraise the legacy and impact of this Strike, 35 years on. This multifaceted project includes an interdisciplinary symposium with scholars at the forefront of their disciplines, including Irish Literature, Cultural Studies, the Medical Humanities and Religious and Political History; a series of articles published on the Irish Times website; and will culminate in a special issue of the Irish Review to be published in 2017."--Publisher |
