Summary:	Proof copy of a lithographic print of Robert Villers Dillon, with facsimile of his signature 'R. V. Dillon' present on sheet underneath lithographic image. The son of Robert Dillon, 3rd Baron Clonbrock and the Hon. Caroline Elizabeth Spencer, Colonel Hon. Robert Villiers Dillon (1838-1923) fought in the China War in 1857 and gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery. He married Harriet Caroline Elizabeth Gladstone, the daughter of Adam Steuart Gladstone and Caroline Walker in 1873.
