[graphic]. Dublin: W.B. Kelly, 8 Grafton Street and all booksellers. Price 2s. 6d.
This appears to be a proof copy of a broadside advertisement poster [font printed in black ink] for display on a sandwich board outside of a shop, advertising W.J. Fitzpatrick's 1866 publication "The Sham Squire and the Informers of 1798" - annotations are present such as at bottom the words "and railway stations" - indicating that this be included at foot of sheet. See NLI call number EPH G44 for a different [finished] version of this poster, printed in red and black font and including the reference to the availability of the book to purchase in a railway station. See also the original early 19th century caricature of Francis Higgins that the image present in this woodcut is based on at NLI call number EP HIGG-FR (2) I.
