Reiss?] featuring a view of people seated underneath a canopy of trees, facing the Champs Elysées; some are viewing those on horseback and in carriages as they pass by, while others watch a puppeteer manipulating two puppets; the Dôme des Invalides [of the Hôtel National des Invalides] can be seen in the left background. At top left of sheet is printed: "Ms. C.L. No. 1569". Title lettered underneath image: "Les Champs Elisés Paris". Translated, the other abbreviations underneath image read "From the Art Foundation of the Bibliographic Institute, Hildburghausen, [a town in Thuringia, Germany]. Property (i.e. copyright) of the publisher".
