Tom Byrne the last surviving officer of the Irish Brigade, Boer War (1899-1902). Featuring a photograph supplied by the Irish Press of an original oil painting by Sean O'Sullivan, R.H.A. of Tom Byrne and Tom Byrne's signature underneath this. Under the heading 'Clar' [p.3] the details of the evening are listed - supper at 7.30 pm followed by a presentation to Byrne by Sean O'Moore, Chairman of 1st Battalion, Old I.R.A. with other speakers and a musical programme followed by the national anthem being sung at 11 p.m. Verso [p.4] details the names of officers of the presentation committee and the social committee of the 1st Battalion Dublin Brigade, Oglaigh Na hÉireann.
