Christmas card with engraving entitled of 'Bridges of Dublin' by Raymond McGrath featuring an engraving of the eight bridges of Dublin that then (1943) spaned the River Liffey with the dates of the years they were erected (between 1755 and 1858). Sent by Reginald and Eileen Ross Williamson, Collinstown Park, Clondalkin, Co. Dublin. Reginald Ross Williamson directed the MOI (Ministry of Information) Empire Division operations in Ireland after the departure of John Betjeman in 1943 - see 'Propaganda, censorship and Irish neutrality in the Second World War' held at NLI call number 6A 1096.
