Undated satirical image in which a couple are depicted standing together in the middle of a room - the manholds the hand of the woman who stands to his right while an older gentleman can be seen departing and in doing so, turns back to look at the couple. Behind the couple is a large painting in a rococo frame of a couple in a landscape. On the extreme left within the image are two other men - one is a jockey (he wears racing silks and holds a crop in his right hand) while the man standing beside him views the couple in the room with amusement.
