The Earl of Meath. %X Souvenir admission card which originally had a ticket [since detached] for a meeting held at the Mansion House Dublin on Friday, September 25, 1914 - on a two-day visit to Ireland, Prime Minister Herbert Asquith shared a platform with John Redmond at a recruiting meeting at the Mansion House, Dublin. Front cover is decorated with green and red decorative zoomorphic celtic interlacing. Interior of card [left-hand-side] features space for the name of the attendee to be written in (in this case "A. Lambert Esq." is handwritten into this space in black ink). At top right, card is embossed with "M Я [similar to a Cyrillic "Я"] 38", within a circle. On opposite side of card, a ticket to event would have originally been present. Text above where original ticket was present reads: "Mansion House. Asquith Meeting, September 25th, 1914. Area [left blank] No. [of ticket] 1399. Doors open at 7.15 p.m. Not Transferable". On verso, bottom left is a logo for Browne and Nolan, Dublin, Belfast & Cork, featuring the letter B, an ampersand and the letter N, printed in green font and intertwined with shamrocks.
