Summary:	Page 300 of French journal 'Le Monde Illustré', 1868 featuring an illustration (attributed to A. Jacob after an original sketch by Emile Barrère) of the trial of Fenians (who had been attempting to rescue two Fenian prisoners) for the bombing of Clerkenwell Prison, London which left twelve people dead. One of the men on trail, Michael Barrett was the last man to be executed in public in England on May 26, 1868. Related article printed on verso, p. 299.
