Summary:A large group of men and women are gathered for the burial of journalist and I.R.B. member Charles Kickham in Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary. His coffin is carried aloft by men to the graveside; many banners are present within the crowd - one features the words "May the / memory of / Charles J. / Kickham / Never Die [.] God Save Ireland"; another says "Irish / National / Forristers"; one reads "Regular /Millers" while another bears the words "United Young Me[n's] Historical Society / Founded by / J.W. Finn". A banner with the harp is prominently displayed also. Some of the men in the crowd wear a cocked hat with feathers and uniform similar to that worn by Robert Emmet. The initials of artist is printed lower right within image: "L.F.".
