According to G.A., the medals on the inspector's uniform are from left to right, of Queen Victoria and King Edward VII, struck for the Royal visits to Ireland, 1900 and 1903 and the Coronation Medal of George V commemorating the visit of 1911. The horse police were abolished in 1919.
