Summary:Title printed l.c.. Lithograph engraving of Mrs. Mary Carol, housekeeper of Lady Eleanor Butler, (ca. 1745-1829), daughter of the 16th Earl of Ormonde and Miss Ponsonby were known as the "Ladies of Llangollen". She is depicted holding a set of keys, standing in front of a fireplace, where a pot is shown boiling. A dog and a cat rest in front of the hearth while in the background a cat sits on a bench alongside a window. Accompanied by a second sheet entitled "Inscription at Llangollen Church in memory of Mrs. Mary Carol deceased the 22nd November, 1809" which details the text on a monument in Llangollen Church erected in her memory by Lady Eleanor Butler and Miss Ponsonby.
