The first illustration "1. The Hawkins-street Facade before the fire". The second illustration "2. The late Mr. Egerton, the Manager, who perished in the flames" shows a portrait of Mr. Egerton, head and shoulders, looking to right. The third illustration "3. Burning of the Theatre" shows the fire bridgade fighting the flames while a crowd looks on. A sign advertising the current performance "Ali Baba & Forty Thieves", can be seen through the smoke.
