Gen. Kilpatrick's great lecture as delivered six years age (sic) in Boston Theatre, Boston, Mass., for the benefit of the Catholic Orphan Children of that city, and repeated in New York City for the benefit of the Sisters of Mercy, at Cooper Institute, and repeated hundreds of times in all the large cities. Reported by the Boston Pilot and New York Irish World. Delivered in Boston Theatre in 1874.

Notes:A very scarce item in any format. General Kilpatrick delivered his rousing paean in 1874 to large pro-Celtic crowds in Boston, New York, and elsewhere. The small section on Kearny at the end may have been an actual eyewitness account of the viewing of Kearny in the hearse wagon. Reproduces Edmund Clarence Stedman's poem, Kearny at Seven Pines.
