A very scarce item in any format. General Kilpatrick delivered his rousing paean in 1874 to large pro-Celtic crowds in Boston, New York, and elsewhere. The small section on Kearny at the end may have been an actual eyewitness account of the viewing of Kearny in the hearse wagon. Reproduces Edmund Clarence Stedman's poem, Kearny at Seven Pines.
