Anti-Treaty broadside issued on Thursday, 17 August 1922. Top of broadside reads "Seventh Year of the Republic". Paragraphs present under the following headings printed in bold font on sheet: "The Real Test", concerning statements made by Rev. Dr Patrick Foley, Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin, denouncing the IRA; "This Wanton War" with references to the fact that members fo the Free State government were unable to travel to Dublin to attend the Dáil; "Foul Propaganda Bears Foul Fruit", concerning what was seen by the IRA as biased commentary in the press regarding the death of Harry Boland; "War Items" concerning the arrest of Republican officers in Dublin and the shooting in Carrick-on-Suir on 10 August of a Mrs. Byrne and her son; "Financially Ruined: Mr. Collin's [sic] Confession", concerning a statement by Michael Collins on the insolvency of the state and the cost of the Civil War, the paragraph ends with the comment that "Churchill chose well the agent of his dirty work" [Michael Collins was murdered the week after this sheet was published]; a final paragraph refers to the fact that Michael Comyn's home was raided by Free State troops [Comyn acted as Counsel at the inquest into the death of Harry Boland].
