He says he was out west conducting meetings of protest and collecting money to support Jim Larkin, but complains bitterly that his work was hampered by De Valera. He criticises the style in which De Valera is living in New York, when compared to the hardship endured by Larkin. He quotes and comments upon specific remarks of De Valera's regarding Larkin. |
