Summary:Mimeograph, circular letter from Charles Stewart Parnell, written from Morrison’s Hotel, Dawson Street, Dublin. The letter is written in response to the change of policy proposed by the Directorate of 'The Freeman’s Journal' and puts forward the suggestion that a ‘first class morning and evening newspaper to advocate the principles of Home Rule for Ireland’ be established and requests that recipients of the letter purchase shares to launch the paper. The letter is dated 22 Aug. 1891 and in this instance was sent to George Wolfe of Forenaughts, Co. Kildare.
