Includes letters from Sir George Shee, government minister, written from Whitehall, London, in which Shee refers to Wolfe’s letter oulining his 'claims', from Lord Pelham (24 June 1802), from Alexander Marsden of Dublin Castle (1804), Charles Lennox, Duke of Richmond and Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, regarding his request for an interview, (10 Feb, 1810) and the Earl of Burlington, written from Fitzroy Farm and dated 26 Nov. [1812], in which he refers to having discussed Wolfe's case with with [Robert] Peel. Also included is a letter Sir Charles Saxton, written from Dublin Castle, in which he refers to Wolfe’s services to the government over the years (23 June 1812).
