Description: Wolfe writes of yeomen continuing to join the ranks of the United Irishmen and the lack of security for those loyal to the British administration in the county. He also recommends that 'Great examples should be made' of both those charged for their part in the Rebellion and anyone who deserted the yeomanry. Wolfe's letter is dated 7 October 1798.
