Summary:Included are letters to Wolfe from his servant Thomas Champion, concerning reports of a group of United Irishmen attempting to take 'possession' of Naas and Kilcullen Bridge (24 May) and the arrival of United Irishmen at Wolfe's home at Forenaughts (15 June, 2 Jul.), from Lord Castlereagh concerning the recent communciation he received from Wolfe, which he has shown to Lord Camden (23 June), from William Cockell, concerning the surrender of the French Army (9 Sept), from [John] Beresford, concerning military activity in the county (10 Sept) and from Lord Carysfort, in which he makes the case for the son of a Widow Byrne, then being detained in Naas Jail, who, Carysfort claims, was 'forced to act with the Rebels' (25 Sept).
