Summary:Includes letters from William Rowe of Leixlip, Robert Thomas Atkins, Erasmus Burrowes, Col. Richard Sherlock of Lamberton, Edward Richardson of Moatown, Baron Glentworth, Arthur McGuire of Dawson Street, Dublin, T.W. Hogstead of Eagle Hill, John Johnston Darrah, Joseph Medlicott, John La Touche, Thomas Conolly and Thomas Rawson. Rawson's letter provides a list of names of local voters and outlines how he thinks they may vote (19 Jul. 1797). Those writing to Wolfe make reference to the registration of freeholders, problems surrounding the registration of eligible Catholics and the influence the Duke of Leinster holds in the constituency.


Also included is a letter to the Rev. [William] Tew from Henry Burton Conyngham, Marquess Conyngham, in which he requests Tew support Wolfe in the forthcoming election (26 Jul. 1797) and a copy letter from Wolfe to his electoral opponent John La Touche, in which he informs La Touche of the continuing 'friendship and affection' he has for him (20 July 1797).
