Summary:Contains a letter from J. D. Owen, requesting Wolfe's assistance in his dealings with a landowner Nevill (possibly Richard Nevill of Furniss, Co. Kildare) and letters from John Wolfe, merchant, written from Cork, looking for financial help after his recent setbacks.


Also included is a petition of James Murray, travelling dealer, made to Wolfe, which provides an account of his being assaulted and robbed by a James Nowlan coming from the fair at Dunlavin. Murray requests that Wolfe bring his financial difficulties to the attention of the Anna Liffey Club (16 Aug. 1787).
