Description: Contains letters to Wolfe, then a student at Trinity College Dublin, from his younger brother Richard in which he writes of school and servants leaving the family estate at Forenaughts, Co. Kildare (Apr.- May 1770), from his father Philpot Wolfe, giving him advice on his career and how best to pursue a useful life (20 Apr 1769), from his relative Thomas Burgh of Oldtown, Co. Kildare, concerning family matters (21 Sept 1801) and from his son John, in which he writes of his recent dealings with the Speaker [John Foster] and his father's 'claim' on the British administration (26 May 1805). Also included is an undated letter from his daughter Mary Wolfe and son John, written while staying with the Earl of Limerick, in which reference is made to meeting with other gentry families and three local men being committed for high treason.
