| Notes: | Frontispiece : woodcut portrait of Edward Cocker. Cocker's Arithmetic was settled as a standard educational text from the date of its first publication in 1677. ESTC records only four Dublin editions printed before 1750, but not this one. Three copies survive of the Dublin bookseller Samuel Fuller's 1735 "thirty-first" edition. Fuller died in 1736 and Isaac Jackson, the publisher of the present edition, assisted Fuller's widow in the business until her death in 1737, thereafter inheriting much of her, and Samuel's, business. The last Dublin edition recorded by ESTC was published by "I. Jackson and Son" in 1769 ; no eighteenth century Dublin edition is recorded in more than a handful of copies.
