This photograph appeared in the New York based 'The Sinn Feiner', 21 August 1920. The caption reads "On July 5th, the American women pickets made a demonstration at Washington's Tomb, Mount Vernon. Reading from left to right - those who carried banners were Misses M. Lahey and Josephine M. Arnheiter; Mrs Gertrude Corless, Director; Mrs. J.B. Kelly, Kathleen O'Brennan, Publicity Director; Misses M. Byrne, Mary A. Keena, Treasurer, and Miss Mathilde Becker."
